UI/UX design support for Kandi, Open Weaver’s open-source intelligence platform. Contributed to refining search, navigation, and authoring experiences to make solution reuse, code discovery, and list creation more intuitive and user-friendly.
Breaking down the project
Supported multiple modules across the Kandi platform including My Space, Lists, and Favorites. Focused on enhancing the clarity of search results, simplifying content hierarchy, and improving interaction flows for saving, editing, and publishing curated code solutions. Paid special attention to accessibility, empty state handling, and micro-interactions.
Process
Context
Kandi empowers developers to discover and reuse open-source assets. As the platform evolved, it needed UI and UX refinements to help users more efficiently manage and personalize technical content without added friction.
Approach
Collaborated closely with product and dev teams to audit existing screens, propose structural improvements, and design polished, responsive interfaces. Introduced layout refinements, improved list usability, and brought greater consistency across modules to support both first-time and repeat users.
